Mercedes Remote Windows Help!

    Hi,

    I have a Mercedes E200, year 2000. Today the remote key went, have changed batteries and nothing. Got a mechanic to have a look and there's nothing they can do tonight.

    The problem is that the windows are fully open and I had it towed to outside the house and am obviously terrified of leaving it there.

    Wondering if anyone knows if there's any way I can get the windows up?

    cant remember properly but 6 yrs ago uncle had same problem on changing battery but i think you keep the lock( I think) button down on key and doors lock and windows go up, if you are first or second owner and contact Merc dealer they will tell you correct procedure, i know someone was going to tear out panels in his but some one advised him to ring dealer in UK. no call out required. not saying it will work for you,if chip tuning of key is required. good luck
