So...Serena Williams at Wimbledon - Was she high?

For those who don't know... Yesterday Serena Williams was in a Doubles match along with her sister, Venus, at Wimbledon.
But Serena had to retire from the match due to a "viral illness" and well .... just watch.

Crazy to see a talented professional athlete such as her be in a state like that. She claims "viral illness" but ... erm yeah right :pac:
So what do you think? Do you buy the whole viral illness or you think something else... perhaps herbal, perhaps prescription based (etc) was afoot?

If she was that sick, I would have imagined she'd be sweating more. The last time I was out of it because of an illness I was actually dehydrated in the mornings because of all the sweatin......just an observation like.

She slogged long and hard enough, probably five or six lifetimes worth of hard work and training. If she's decided to "let her hair down" a bit, I'd say she's earned the right to do that. Possibly retiring quietly first, in a blaze of glory would have been a better strategy though...Though maybe the woman did have a bug. Either way, whatever.

They are. But it's well known about athletes using masking agents. These products cost ALOT of money. But Tennis players like Serena aren't short for a few bob.

She and Venus lost their Sister during a gang shoot out in Compton a few years ago.. pretty traumatic times for them I'd say.. They've been through the mill.
