Do Ryanair charge you for a name change?

Hi, somehow my mate told me the wrong spelling of his name

Basically he missed out an "l" on his last name and I typed it in as it was

If I ring them up will they charge me?

(I'm in the UK atm btw)

When did you make the booking?

They have a 24 hour grace period during which you can make minor corrections.

€100 I think if passed the grace period.

but that may have been under their previous policies. they've changed many recently

Happened me too. Rang them up and they changed it for free. The €100 charge is more for changing the name to someone else's, not for typos.

I booked flights 2 nights ago and made a mistake on one of the names.I put one of us down with the wrong 2nd name , I rang ryanair this morning and they changed it with no hassle.I was surprised with how easy ryanair where about it as I assumed it would be a nightmare
