Fair play, he dressed up as the town crier to announce a Sanchez agreement.

Happy enough with the Lallana signing. Not much of a surprise anyway. I think alot depends on how the rest of the window goes, whether or not Suarez goes amonsgt other things.

The likes of SlickRic blind optimism and Mr Alan's wanton negativity are part of what makes us the 'worst fans in the world'

    Viva la difference.

At least Saps was original. Pandas and "buddy guys" are just lifted out of South Park.

Shaqiri must have gone to the Robben school of diving.

Shaqiri looks like a feisty little bugger! I thought he showed some nice flashes in that game, sign him up.

If you don't get the Southpark references you deserve a fine or something. Next one will be a 10 week thread ban, the one after that will be a 4 month internet ban and you can't even use a phone or laptop during that time.

The Express is now linking us with Mario :pac:

Funnty transfer season will really kick off if Luis does leave.
BRENDAN RODGERS is lining up a stunning bid to snatch Mario Balotelli from Arsenal's clutches if Liverpool decide to sell Luis Suarez.

He'll fit right in at Anfield. A worthy successor to Suarez' disgusting antics cheating.

    *Disclaimer: I'm joking

Seems the complete opposite type of player that BR would be interested in, I for one wouldn't want him anywhere near Liverpool!

    I'm a yes for Balotelli.

The nutter aspect I can handle, it's the lack of interest and sheer laziness he shows in most games that would put me off.

Mario would be a quality laff. I approve.

We do need another world class striker/centre forward even if Suarez stays, Sturridge just has a habit of picking up injuries.

Wing forwards just won't hack it if he gets injured and Suarez is gone.

Lambert and Borini are there I know world class they are not.

No to balotelli, you might get one amazing performance out of 5 attempts.
I can see him wanting to leave almost as soon as he arrives.

How many teams have world class back up strikers to call upon?

    I know 4 maybe 5.

We need to aim for one though if Suarez leaves to compete with Sturridge at least.

Balotelli as crazy as he can be is a world class striker.

Balotelli would be infuriating.....maybe BR could get the best out of him but would be a big a risk.

Maybe Brendan's getting some Italian in for Luis to keep him happy :P

You originally said we need one if Suarez stays though, and we have more pressing matters at hand, ie: the defense.

Who are the 4 or 5? I'm racking my brain here for the past few minutes and am struggling.

For me there isn't a club around Europe who claim to have one until Falcao to Real Madrid is confirmed and that's assuming Benzema stays. If he's off, that leaves Morata who doesn't look the part going by last season. You can shoehorn Bale or Ronaldo upfront, but you wish for a natural backup striker I gather.

Bayern for the time being, maybe. I don't class Mandzukic as world class myself, very good yes, but not world class.

Dortmund have a wealth of options now, but Reus who can lead the line aside, Immobile, Ramos and Aubameyang aren't world class neither.

Juventus have Llorente and Tevez who play in the majority of games.

PSG, well Cavani plays in 90% of the games, even if he has to be thrown on the right to accommodate for Ibra.

If Suarez goes and we get Sanchez in return, Sanchez is well able to play centrally and score 20 goals.

    We should have kept Moses.
