Excellent comment dude. Half 3, Friday night, on boards, on a thread you "don't care" about. That's class. Run along now

Half 3, Friday night, on boards, ready to pounce on replies you don't like. That is not class. Hard for you to run along when your mean landlord has you nailed to that metaphorical cross. :(

A landlord cannot enter the property without giving you reasonable prior notice. Doing so is unlawful entry, and using your electricity is theft. Therefore, he is committing the offense of burglary.

Seeing as you need help, the natural place to post would be the Helpdesk. To be fair they'll probably tell you the best remedy is to ignite the house...ignite it to the ground...

There's a helpdesk ? And which Hitler are we talking about ?

Hide in one of the presses and scare the living sh1te out of him when he opens it.

Change the locks and tell him someone's been coming and going without permission

Invite him to dinner and put on a one man show featuring the songs of ABBA. Insist on singing all their songs and do all the actions. Insist he sings the chorus with you before suggesting you take a nice hot bath with him.

You might also talk to the guy and find out why he's doing this. He shouldn't be coming into a place he's rented (without having the tenant's permission and the tenant being there). I wonder does he possibly think there are drugs in the house? Or is he hot for hotpresses?

Hitler never sang when going through other peoples presses?

Probably because he only had one ball.

The following terms ''quite enjoyment'' ''tresspassing'' are defined in Irish land law. I expect that would lower his rattle....

    http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Quiet+enjoyment

    HOUSING ACT, 2002
    http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/2002/en/act/pub/0009/sec0024.html

I assume you have a rental contract if not contact the PRTB for advise regarding this.

You're a pussy OP. Landlord tried that with me once and I gave him what for. 48Hrs notice if you want to set foot in this house and you need permission b*tch, 24hrs if you're showing the gaff to someone. Complain about a dirty dish, not my problem, now close the door on your way out. Touch my stuff and you'll get what for.

    Grow a pair OP. Doormat.

So the OP could legally shoot him?

Are you for real? I came on here for advice, which I'm getting from people and it's much appreciated. But when I see your stupid "nobody cares" comment you expected me to "like" it...riiiiiiiiiiiiiight

Its is both annoying and unlawful as he has to give you notice if hes coming over and decides to give an inspection

Contact threshold and go from there.

You can file a complaint with the PRTB.

Have dates, evidence if any and any other relevant details.

Does the landlord reside in the same building (IE - are you renting a room?) or is it an apartment/house?

After hours is probably not the place you want this if you're looking for good advice though.

After hours is perfect if the OP wants revenge advice though!

Easy tiger, us girls aren't as strongly spoken as you men. I was very busy in the middle of working, the last thing I wanted was to fall out, tell him to feck off, shove his house up his arse and be out of my ear looking for somewhere else in the middle of a accomodationless Galway
I was in the middle of Eyre Square too, better was hard to find tbh.

Definitely agree with you though, I was not at all nice towards the end

I'm not your landlord, there's no need to become irate with me. Here's a smiley emoticon to make you cheer up :)

Find out LL home address keep sending taxi, deliveries to his house.

Call to his house when he opens door enter and turn on his immersion and all his lights and take a dump on his carpet/ rug in sitting room job done you will be happy.

Also keep ringing and use a soundboard off the internet to wind him up.
