Aux engine bracket cheap?

looking for a 2nd hand one anyone?? http://www.unionchandlery.ie/platform-outboard-bracket-3-step-8hp.html Looks fairly simple to make ..anyone have any experience doing it??ideas about the metal and thickness?

What HP engine are you thinking of putting on it as they are all rated differently so buying a cheep one might mean it's not suited to your engine.
