    SG, you're looking for a new car aren't you? I know a nice S3 for sale :D

Need something bigger for daily driving tbh :(

S60 T5 is the goal and something interesting and vintage for the weekend a couple months later

Hold off until late Sept (end of season) for the classic. There will be more choice, less demand and better prices then. As you can see there's dick all interesting in what you're looking for right now.

Thats kinda the plan if i want to get a new computer and the shed aswell as someting decent after i spend 3k on a relatively swift reliable and supremely comfortable daily then save by not spending a couple hundred quid every couple weeks on carparts and silly tax.

There's a couple of nice yank tanks up at the moment, the cadillac in kildare for one!
    And a few camaros

I've been looking for a while at expanding the fleet.

None of them would interest me and all of them have been for sale, either constantly or on and off for at least a year now.

That's with the exception of the Caddy presuming you mean the matt black one. Matt makes a sorry old bus like that look cool while hiding what a sh1theap it really is.

I could be wrong of course but I doubt it. ;)

    Black camaro looks rough.

Grey camaro might look nice with some black stripes and a set of American racing thrust II wheels and modern tyres (sacrilege i know)

Just back from servicing the car, got the full Valet too, looks and smells class, like brand new. Uber happy.

He said he'd source a nice golf for me too, at a decent price...

Wouldn't really be that interested in the camaros. I've heard the black 7k camaro is rough in person so that put me off it anyway.

That matte black caddy looks cool with the pinstriping and the big block (although unfortunately the smaller of the two available for that year). Could be a bucket, of course, but it's the sort of thing I'd be looking at. I was meaning to call and view it last weekend but a 60 seater bus put paid to that!

In the next 6-9 months I want to acquire a big block v8 and a diesel pickup. There are some examples of both for sale atm so it's a matter of seeing the cars in person and paying the right money based on condition. At 35-40 years+, cars are not going to be immaculate when you buy them at the bottom end of the market anyway.

Did I see that US matte green army Jeep that was up for ages in Longford and Dublin go for €1500 a few weeks ago?

Pretty sure I saw it on Donedeal at €1500 no offers.

    The dodge?
Fcuk I would have begged borrowed or stole €1500 for that. What an absolute bargain

Could one colour code the black strips and door handles easily on something like this?

Yep. Either get the rubstrips from breakers that are already colour coded, or just get the paint mixed for you and paint them yourself.

Oh no neither would I, I'm just looking up the options if I had to drop back to a comfortline....

To deal with the copious amounts of sunshine we get is it :pac: Wouldn't be a deal-breaker if push came to shove!

I've had 2 already, enough for any man :)

I posted that other thing to you yesterday so you should receive it soon.

I get the feeling thats not driven hard anyway.

Seller mentions he's had a new hip, and I presume the pillow thingy on the seat is for support for said hip or whatever.

The mileage mightn't bother you, but when you come to sell it would put a lot of people off.

Its very cheap for an 08 nonetheless.

    Cheers for that, mate. :)

I'm preparing myself for the dumb texts already, last price? Where do you live? Want to swap a Massey Fergusson? lol

I didn't even put 'no texts' as people never heed it.

The temptation to text you offering a half eaten banana is incredible :pac:

Just don't advertise on adverts. Lots of 'swap for my ad' offers and stupidity is astounding.

    Right, job interview tomorrow.

    If I get the job:

    - Not going back to college for another while.
    - Getting something with four doors that looks representative
    - Being happy about my soon to be paycheck rise :D

Right so there were 10 other people there, we all were asked about our enthusiasm for motor cars, I just went "Oh yeah, I regurarly visit the Motors forum on Boards, I'm a member of a BMW owners club in Ireland, my interest in cars is very high"
:o I was so freaking nervous.

We were all told that they'll contact us within 2 weeks.

Is that with a car rental company by any chance?

That's all you said when they asked if you were interested in cars?!

Don't be too hard on yourself as you always generally do better than you thought! :)

On top of that I said I was interested in cars since I was a child, that I follow various car related sites and I check car related news every week.

@Cleve: No, it was a dealership.
