    RTE showed slowed down footage last night where you could actually see him opening his mouth. That and a close up of the bite mark on the other guy's shoulder. He must have serious issues to do that, especially with so many people watching and so many cameras on him.

    Nonsense like this is part of the problem. Suarez did it, in front of millions of viewers, for at least the third time, he has learned nothing from previous bans and FIFA should take action even if cynical Suarez-apologists go into conspriracy theory overdrive.

    just on that, it came out this morning that the image they pulled from the internet was photoshopped, when i saw it i did say the teeth marks didn't match suarez's teeth, and people said i was crazy :)

    but he did have a red mark on his shoulder (with no teeth marks), so i can't see Suarez getting away with this one either

    I dunno. I work in hospital, somebody bites, they usually get dosed with lorazepam and haloperidol. Maybe the team doctor can use this to restrain if he is acting up.

    No it didn't, there were people trying to claim that last night too. The BBC coverage of IC/Greece started with this, and showed the video of the incident where Chiellini is showing his shoulder and shouting over at the ref. They then zoomed in on it, directly from the video without cutting away, and it was exactly as the picture circulating is. Unless you are claiming the BBC or official WC camera crews at the stadium were the ones doing the photoshopping?

    Then it shows a Uruguayan defender trying to pull the collar of Chiellini's jersey back up to conceal it... why do you think he would do that if there was no bite mark?
