Its going to happen. No way will he get away with it.

Can a ban cover domestic football?

Others would have been willing to pay more later on. Demand for his services may now have decreased.

Guess we're stuck with him so, what a shame.

I'd rather be bitten than elbowed in the face, every time. Broken nose >>> than a few teeth marks.

Total over reaction as usual! We should we supporting him not condemning him. From the camera angles I don't think there is enough to prove anything and them marks on the Italian don't look like bite marks atall.

Don't see how FIFA would have any power to ban him for domestic stuff either.

I think you can point out the hypocrisy without having to support Suarez.

He deserves to be punished, without any doubt.

Its ok Man Utd fans Suarez wont be banned from playing any premier league or champions league games.

I can't defend this ****e anymore from him. He's not going to.injure anyone but no luis biting is not acceptable in any walk of life.
Think we should move him on, he's a head case and I honestly hope he gets professional help.

I would imagine that is the end of the World Cup for Suarez. Not sure about a ban from the Premiership.

FIFA can't ban him from domestic stuff imo. Only internation and there is no proof anyway so they can't ban him from anything.

Very strange looking marks if they're supposed to be a bite.

Thought Chiellini's elbow after the altercation was much more reckless, but you're not likely to hear about that.

Did you think Suarez put his head down on his shoulder to kiss him?
Absolutely disgraceful and deserves a ban.
    Brilliant footballer but loose cannon.

I doubt it. Game is under FIFA's umbrella. Not Premier League's.

Couldn't even be arsed with this elbow vs bite stuff, it smacks of defending bullsh1t behavior, or at least diverting attention. I'm glad he's not disgracing Liverpool this time, but I really wonder about the chap's brain.

He's still going. We're just gonna get less.

Maybe I want to support him, I don't see the big deal with a bit of a bite, if he did it and I don't see any conclusive proof that he did.

I would take the elbow in the face every time.

If Suarez bit me, I'd be testing for hepatitis, herpes, syphilis, tuberculosis and tetanus.

Exactly what I'm thinking. After being so impressed watching him against England to doing this. It's like 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

It's going to dominate the papers again and deter from his actual performances. Then he wonders why media give him such stick.

But Suarez has been offered anger management therapy.

Dr Fawcett thinks this is likely to have a minimal effect. "It's in the man," he says. "I would think that in five years' time if there was a certain nerve hit or chord rung with Suarez in a different situation he would react in the same way."

If he's not banned from the playing for Liverpool next season I not overly bothered.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,872 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Meh. He's clearly not right in the head, but as said earlier, if he scores at the same rate in a Liverpool jersey as he did the season just gone I'll be happy. I don't watch football for moral guidance.

That looks nothing like a bite. The camera angle proves nothing either, looks more like an attempted head butt.

Hopefully FIFA totally ignore it, if even just to annoy the people calling for blood.

Anyone else ordering Italian tonight or just me? I was genuinely planning on ordering Greek food. Damn that Suarez.

ffs--- Are you taking the piss...... There are going to be massive consequences for him after tonight with FIFA which could also carry over to his club also.

You can't be serious seriously biting someone is low okay it will not break a leg or such but it is scummy and this is from a massive supporter of liverpool and his goals. There is loads of proof I did not think so at first but he did bite him. All you need is Suarez resction at full time he knows what he has done and knows he is gone

He could get a worldwide ban from football for this.
