I forgot about their transfer ban

and it being overturned.

Barca are reported to have €120mil to spend this window.

I have a feeling that if the only thing standing between Suarez and a dream move for him (and his wife) to Barca is a transfer request then it won't be too long before it's submitted tbh.

That's only £95m they would still be short £5m cash to meet the £100m everyone seems to want.

I think when he saw everyone around him blow up so spectacularly at the end of the season it made up his mind as he could not have possibly done anymore for the team

Duncan Castles had a story in the Sunday Times last week but Castles is not exactly a reputable figure. Then there is all the usual stuff in the Spanish papers. Effectively they are fanzines for either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Hmmm, £100m to spend if Suarez goes, that has me thinking about the worst way to spend a £100m and one pound:

1. Mario Balotelli - we gazump the Gunners with a bid of £35,000,001 and get in the man who will provide the non stop funniez and the occasional world class performance amongst a majority of simply bewildering performances. To be sold to PSG the following summer for £70m and 2 pound.

2. Hulk - we spend £25m on the not so incredible one, who spends most of the time on the pitching doing, well, not a whole lot. A defanged version of the Count of Montevideo.

3. Hugo Almeida - £10m on the finest striker Portugal have to offer....oh.

4. Andy Carroll - £20m to bring the effortless one, the graceful like a ballerina one, our very own jesus back to Anfield. What better way to replace the Uruguayan Prophet than with the Geordie Messiah? Don't say you don't believe in the 2nd coming.

5. Sack Rodgers and give Moysie a contract worth £10m.

I'd agree with this. It just creates a distraction for him, which would irritate the Uruguay camp which is already looking rather fragile. I know he can act like a spoiled brat but this would be selfish even by his standards.

And before you accuse me of anything, I'm a Liverpool fan.

And what difference did that actually make? We'd have lost the league on goal difference rather than points. It was a bad collapse in a match which happens (remember Arsenal being 4-0 up at Newcastle a few years back do you?)
