I've got a nasty burst abcess on my left bum cheek. It took 2 tramadol to mostly subdue the pain, now I could happily go back to bed for a snooze but I've got an engineer calling sometime this afternoon. Got bugger all sleep with the abcess last night:(

That sounds very sore, I dunno about an engineer, I would try the doctor first.

I'm helping out a friend and translating some stuff for her. I've no idea where she got the text from but it's quite hard to translate something that's not even written in proper English

I thought I'd distract myself from thoughts of the burst abcess by doing some gardening. That went fine, then I looked at the secateurs blades that were dirty. Now, anybody else would have got a cloth but me, oh no, I thoughtlessly decided to brush it off with my finger, now I'm typing with 1 hand due to the plaster on my finger where it got sliced as a result of my own stupidity.

I think I'll send a few of our lads with a big roll of bubble wrap your way, because you are obviously very self-destructive Pumpkin!:pac:

When coffee doesn't do its job.

I want an iced coffee but I need to stay away from caffine. Boo-urns. Still getting used to drinking orange juice in the mornings but the SuperValu own brand is quite nice. The smooth kind, that is. Feck off, pulpy bits.

Have you tried pineapple juice? I can't have any alcohol any more so I needed a replacement. It's really refreshing and a lot tastier than orange juice.

Òooh, yes. Pineapple juice is godly! Especially in hot weather. Only thing is-does pineapple juice have Vitamin C in it? I'm taking orange juice to help with iron absorbsion. Must look into that...

Back on topic: Region-locked Youtube videos. "This video is not available to view in your country". Drives me mental.

Aye, plenty of vitamin C in pineapple juice Chubbin, in any of the citrus fruits really, there's also grapefruit juice (but that'd tear the skin off your teeth and do funny things to your insides), and then my wife swears by her cranberry juice in the morning, she's the food and nutrition freak around here, me I couldn't give a fig! :D

    Cheers for that, Czarcasm! :)

Back on topic: I have a blister on my foot and it hurts to walk on it. Ouch. :(

See now if you took your cod liver oil when you were a child ;)

Poor you, you are having a bad time.
(Whatever you do, don't take any advice given on this thread...)
