Hi everyone. It's been a few years since I built my gaming pc (sadly no longer runs) and I am looking to build a new one. Problem is I am so far out of the loop that I have no idea what hardware to go for or where to look for hardware advice.

    1. What is your budget? [€800-1,000]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video editing/3D Modelling/HTPC/Internet] (Games, Games, Games :) Key games I would like to play include Rome 2, Europa Universalis 4 and battlefield 4 on as high settings as possible - especially unit size maxed out in rome 2- as well as making sure it will be able to handle games that come out in the future for at least a few years)

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No] Yes.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] (If possible state brand and model of the parts to ensure compatibility) No, previous computer is far too old (built in 2006)

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No] Maybe - might be able to get one off my brother but assume I need one.

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.] 24' sounds like it would be best for gaming.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No] No

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser] Credit Card

    9. When are you purchasing? [In x days] No set date, whenever I save up enough money.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [South Dublin City/Cork City/Kerry/etc.] Don't think i'll need help.
