I would consider myself to have plenty of friends. However, recently when I was in the red financially and needed a dig out, there was only a couple of people I would ask. If you needed 500e in the morning is there many friends/family that you think would give it to you with no questions asked?

Family, yes if it was urgent. Only know one friend that would have that kind of cash to hand.

Give up the farming if all you have is 250 sheep. I have that many in one field.

Giving up the farm is not an option. You do realize that farming is a disease and I can't help it?

Neither a lender nor a borrower be.

    - B Cowen. (circa 2008)

500 euro, it would be friendly to offer them a 'lend' of something to the value of about the same amount.

If someone came to me saying here here take a loan of my tv and dvd player, oh by the way can you lend me 500 - they might hear a yes.

Come to me saying - lend me 500 .... sorry all out.

I'd only ask one brother. Don't think I'd be able to ask a friend.

I don't even live on a farm, was born on one but my old man liquidized it . However I was giving a neighbor a hand with rounding up sheep for sheering today. Nearly dropped when he told me the sheerer got 500 cash for the day.

Is a liquidized farm like chicken and vegetable soup?

You should do it seeing you see it as easy money.

Did you do it yourself to be an authority on it?

Only person I'd ask for that kind of cash monies is my brother but we are not really friends! He's the only one that'd help me though, even if we do fight like members of an ethnic group!

Go shear a few sheep. Come back to me about the easy money. When I was young I worked for a week with a New Zealand shearing crew in Norfolk. A week was more than enough. 500 sheep a day, every day. Count them, slowly. One. Two. Three.. fcuk me, I'd rather eat grass. Hardship of the highest order. Every penny earned.
