RWD would also enhance the experience of steering feedback, seeing as the front wheels don't have to take the drive

This is something I did notice when turning alright.

And.... on saying all that I ended up driving the Megane to give someone a lift just now and promptly gave myself an utter heartstopper when I put my foot on the brake-pedal and nothing at all seemed to happen until it was half-way to the floor.

Well I am comparing it to the Chaser, FTO and a 5 Door Civic. Its just so bad, I can now understand the whole "a car is just an A-B machine".

They're appalling. I was stuck in an identical one for a few weeks last year, properly ****. I thought an insurance car had to be equivalent to your own?

My dad had one of those Corsas as a loaner when the DMF was being done in the Insignia. The interior light is like something from the '70s and is the highlight of the experience :rolleyes:

Got a new set of rear tyres today. €440 gone in one go :(

While sitting in trafic today I discovered at idle and upto operating temperature the golf burns 0.5 l/hr of diesel vs 0.7 l/hr with a/c on. I know that's how bored I was :pac: yet I can't see a whole lot of difference in the tank mpg considering I have had the a/c on most of the time in the last week or so.

I don't know why bad things happen to me all the time, but I'm sick of it. No matter what I do it always seems to go wrong, what I thought I had was grand turns sour as per norm.

Not only the cars but much more was taken away from me earlier, along with quite crushing news that concerns my health. Just to kick me when I'm down.

I don't know why I bother, I realy shouldn't even start. Maybe I should stay a recluse for my own sanity.

Theres got to be more than this sh*t

Normal me will return when sober, hopefully, though that seems unlikely at this stage

:( I don't know what to say - only id like to wish you all the best - and I hope the health issues can be sorted out for you

The girlfriend has an SXi one and it's a good bit firmer and it handles great, everything else is the same though. Jesus that engine wouldn't pull you out of bed, it's laughably slow. Then there's the gearbox. It's like stirring a pot of porridge. It's very long in the tooth at this stage.

Are they made out of Gold or what? :pac: A set of decent tyres for my BMW works out at just under 600 yoyos.

A Ka will do far more damage to whatever it hits, no matter what it hits. Motorcycles.... tend not to.

That, and more Ka owners will likely crash and claim because there's more of the things out there.

Also at most a bike will be carrying one extra passenger (liability) vs three or four extra in the KA

Speaking of tyres - Uniroyal Rainsport 3, are they any good?

    Vintage Yank Shiny(ish)
    12x20 Shed for said Vintage
    Brand new computer

When it's gone and for afew weeks i only have the daily and im out sweating my arse off digging the groundwork for the shed and pouring the concrete base i may find myself wondering...

Must picture of are new compact shed unfortunately not big enough for cars but it's grand other than that. Are you building it out of block or metal panels are you putting power in it would probably worth having some lights and sockets in it.

Steel shed called the Olympus or something, electricity i will consider later but it will be very near an extension so running a wire wouldn't be too hard.

Might just stick a dehumidifier in it from time to time via extension cable until i sort something permenant

Ah just if you have the ground dug up anyway run out a 4mm square 3 core saw or something like that. Granted that will only be big enough to run a few sockets and lights but you get the idea you can go bigger that 4mm square if you think you'll be running more. Always better to through in the wire it you have the ground dug up anyway.

Will dig up the base for the shed but it will be surrounded by gravel so not sure yet.
