    That's definitely the first priority.

The language requirement is probably the next most important; can you translate the following into English?

    Unfortunately, yes. :pac:
I live in 'farmin' country' in Wicklow, I talk like that to half my friends cos that's their native tongue :pac:

In that case, there's only one question left to be asked, and in his absence I may as well ask it for him.

(Cant really do the South Tipp accent though).

    "So ... have ya land?!"

How are you guys saying this??!?! I'm loving the summer, but I suppose my friends are good for organising things! Went out until about 4am last night and going to a bonfire tonight (a few days early, I know!)

    Vive les vacances!

I was out until like 3 last night, bad idea with applied Maths the next morning :( :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,509 ✭✭✭✭randylonghorn

Yes, but there's not that much difference between Galway / Mayo ... except ofc to Galway and Mayo people, who would tell you there's all the difference in the world!!

    Impossible, it defies description!!

Professional linguists have taken early retirement when faced with the task!! :pac:

Ah shure everywhere has an accent! :pac:

Ive a janky accent though, because Ive lived in a bunch of different counties and half my family are from other countries so it's all rubbed off on me and culminated in a weird Wicklow/Dublin/Louth/Galway/General Culchie but also Posh accent :pac:

I'll have you know I'm very well understood when speaking to people of all counties and countries, it can only be because Tipperary people don't have accents! :pac:

On a more serious note, how small is Valbuena?! he's like a little kid running around the pitch!

The worst short people problem is having to get people to reach your books at the top of the lockers cause you're too short to get them :pac:

Thankfully, I got the top locker from 2nd year through to sixth year. I had a bottom locker(literally on the floor) in 1st year and it was just embarrassing.

There are numerous different accents in Dublin. Even the estate down the road has a different accent to us :P

I've never had a bottom locker, thankfully :D though, it would probably be at a perfect level for my shortness :pac:
