    "GOTOFMS" over Kansas City:

    http://www.flightradar24.com/GOTOFMS/3995085

Code seems to be at least occasionally used by US military planes according to info online.

From what I read, the call sign has been used by a E-6B Mercury and C-130, as well as by some civilian planes (but who knows how accurate the info is).

POLKA54 and POLKA55 flying over the North Sea.

I was out for a walk at lunch time and noticed a German Wings A319 did a go around (approx 1:40pm).

Anyone know the reason for the go around?

do air canada normally have a 767 in for their Toronto route?

one just took off now from Dublin and passed over my house. Emirates 777 took off then straight away after it.

I'm not sure about this year but last year ACA894 was usually a B767.

The last few days I've noticed this plane going in and out of Cork airport. It's not showing up on arrivals/flight radar and it appears to be totally different to the light craft that are going around and around for training etc. Any ideas what it is? This was yesterday around 5pm, and it went in (or similar craft) today around 2.30pm... I'm so curious!

NATO training mission I would assume. Being trailed by BITE34/35/37. Swiss F/A-18C's by the looks of things.

Private-hire RJ / 146 G-RAJJ heading towards Shannon from Edinburgh, 26,000 ft. No contrail as it passed over NI so I didn't see it in the thin cirrus.

    Callsign CLJ275P ( P presumably Positioning )

Edit: late turn and now he's descending into Cork!

It operated CTN3500 to Cork earlier, then went to Dublin before heading down to Shannon.

Croatia Airlines have used Shannon Aerospace for heavy maintenance since they received their first baby 'bus, over a decade now I think.

Ah cool thanks. Good to see Ireland having a good share in the maintenance business.

Would it be dropping the golfers to Cork ?

The Croatian was operating a holiday charter- there will be a return next week but otherwise the flight only runs every few weeks. Not enough demand for weekly charters all season

Haha, I'l set up a alert for your posts! :pac:

Must have clicked edit while you were posting. :)

Quiet day overhead, apart from a AN124 passing over me @ FL290. Didn't get a chance to post it.

Plus it made me realise how inaccurate MLAT can be sometimes. The bloody thing was right overhead when FR24 was giving a position about 5 miles away. Usually some of them are spot on. Looks unbelievable passing over.
