Burning rubber smell on laundry after machine wash

    2 questions here.

    1) Is the rubber smell likely caused by a mechanical fault (worn out clutch etc) or should I try to remove the smell using bleach or similar?

    2) If it's a fault, approximately how much is a typical call out service and replacement parts (say for something like a clutch). The machine is not under warranty.

I'm trying to weigh up the cost of a callout/replacement vs buying a new machine.

Ignore I'll get a new machine... I can only see problems getting it repaired as something else will inevitably break in a year or so.

    CLOSE THREAD PLEASE.
