Would prefer Kilduff but Croly wouldnt allow that.

Zayed to anywhere, massive wages and no effort. Great finisher but all our chances seem to fall to Kilduff who has half the composure.

I reckon we'll only get one of the two. Talk of Enda Stevens coming back too with Luke Byrne recovering from surgery.

Change needed in Sligo. Can't afford to sack a manager though.

Next year is going to suck with no European football. I hope we can bounce back in 2016 though.

Shep will be an alright signing for you. He's rightly annoyed at his lack of games. He doesn't have to lead the line, can play wider in that formation.

Zayed isn't as lazy as people say, he's just not getting s sustained run on the team but I'd still offload him to free a wage for Boyce, personally.

Does a manager who's won a league and two cups in two and a half seasons really deserve to be sacked?

The scourge of modern day football fans is the element of recent blow ins who think that throwing a tantrum every time they fail to win a game makes them appear ambitious and dedicated.

I always presume that they're just grossly failing to grasp the reality of Roy Keane's 'play to win' mantra.

We've gone backwards each year, so yes. I appreciate what he has done, but last season was poor and was saved by a cup win over Drogs. Our football has gotten more negative every game and his signings have been below par. We have had injuries and not one of them have been able to step up.

Bollocks. We are one of the few full time teams in the league and we are 17 points off the top and 11 off Europe only 3 months into the season. We are also out of both cups.

I've been going to the showgrounds since we were in the first division. I'm hardly a recent blow in. Even the most dedicated fans on our forum have realised that a change is needed.

The only thing saving Baraclough is his contract. 5th place and out of both cups at the first hurdle with our budget/resources in unacceptable. What he has done in his last 2 seasons here is not a factor.

Baraclough probably does, it's really not difficult to see the direction they're going since the start of last season. I hope he stays..

It's funny because him taking Sligo in a more pragmatic direction was probably what won Sligo the league, but it seems the longer they get from Cook's reign the more they're playing dull, mediocre English football, while the likes of Kenny and Buckley are playing progressive, winning football.

Our budget has decreased each year so hardly a surprise results have gone the same way.

The amount of injuries the past two seasons has been ridiculous. There's hardly been a game where we weren't missing five or six players.

Things will work out under Baraclough if given time. He does need to get better at bringing in players though. More Hendersons, less Spillanes

Away with your reasonable attitude, there's an effigy to be stuffed apparently. :-)

It depends on what Fenlon thinks of his new squad

Kelly apparently said he's too good for the FD.

Though not sure if he plays for Rovers B.....

That's the stumbling block, aka he doesn't want to move for less money.

Is he trying to chase down Elding's record for moves..

Elding will do "well" do beat Ski McGee.

True dat! Was looking at his wiki page a few months back and couldn't believe the amount of clubs he has played for.

Someone who can score goals consistently would be perfect. Would also bring a bit more experience to a young team.

He's hit and miss imo, if he shows the bite he did down in Limerick when we were basically relegated last season I'd happily take him back! Never seen 10 lads **** themselves with 1 lad going for them! :D

Gone backwards, except for his first year, when ye won yer first league in a quarter of a century. Last season was pretty much the same as Cook's last season - just a few points off the top and an FAI Cup. This season looks like it'll be a mid-table finish, but he's still won a Cup to tick things over. It looks like he's the most successful manager in Sligo's history (correct me if I'm wrong, here). Surely he's earned a chance to improve the league fortunes - particularly if he still keeps picking up cups. He's only really not had success in Europe, but they were unseeded for both ties and faced sides from much better leagues than the LoI. Sligo should have more success this year.

Kinda reminds me of City fans in the mid 00s with Damien Richardson. Wins a league and gets us through two rounds of the UEFA Cup in his first season, and through one of the Champions League, and people wanted him sacked since halfway through. Even though we could mathematically have won the league going into the last game. Then in his third season, he brings another two rounds of Europe to the Cross and wins the FAI Cup, and people celebrate the sacking of this "terrible" manager a few weeks later.

Horgan gone from Drogs, no surprise.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Would agree with that. My only problem with baraclough is that his signings have been shocking. Other than Henderson.

The injuries the last two seasons has been crazy. Can't judge him when hes only got half a squad every week.
