Information on Westport Festival 2014

    Hi all,

    Thinking of heading down to the Westport Festival in June. Has anyone been before?

    Just wondering what the vibe is down there? I read that it is children friendly, so just wondering is the crowd more families etc. or is there a pretty mixed crowd.

    Also, I read that you can not bring your own alcohol. Does this mean the music venue itself, or the campsite also? Obviously not bringing your own alcohol makes the weekend alot more expensive.

    Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi there. Sorry can’t help you with the specific questions, as I have never been there before. But headin to the Sunday of the festival. Really looking forward to it.

    I was looking at the Sunday schedule and think I can fit in Mundy, Sinead O’Connor, Bjorn Again and Bryan Adams. Should be good. I remember seeing Bryan Adams at my first ever gig – Feile 92. He was really good.

    Anyone else headin?
