    Hello folks,

    Would you happen to know where you may find some canary reed grass in Ireland?, the great old man in the forest told me about reed grass, and how if you can find it, bring it home and put it in a vase it gives you good luck for the rest of your life.


    So I say to him, where can I find this so called canary reed grass?, and he says to me, ask people.


    So I am now here on this Irish great great forum with great great members,
    Would you please?, please give ANY input you can regarding canary reed grass in Ireland, PLEASE please please.

    I wish you luck recognising it, if you know so little about it. For what it's worth, it is widespread in Ireland and is found where water levels fluctuate in ditches and at the margins of ponds, or lakes.

    I think there's a place In Dun Laoghaire that stocks it?
