    I actually sympathize with non sports fans who only have Saorview in the next couple of weeks.
    Both RTE channels will have wall to wall world cup and gaa on Saturdays and Sundays
    Maybe RTE should have a sports channel during the summer months.......

    RTE are describing this like it's a shock.

    I'm not sure how.

    I wouldn't have fancied Uruguay to progress from this group at all.
    Aside from Suarez & Cavani, Uruguay's weakness was well known.

    Also as an aside, the atmosphere at these games is ten times better than 4 years ago.

    I put €10 on Uruguay to win by 2 or more at 6/4 off my winnings from the last match. Just before half time I completely misread live betting and thought I saw Costa Rica to win/draw/lose by only one at 5/1, but it was only to win or draw. So I was lucky to come out a tenner up. :p

    They seem absolutely shíte. If they get through it'll be Cavani and Suarez (if he's fit) carrying them.

    I'm sure they will up their game.

    However, both England & Italy are simply better teams though.
    On that basis alone I think the Uruguayan goose is cooked.
