It would depend on the track and section really but you are right.
How ever, Sparco do recommend the seat for both track and road use, where as other are competition only.
The sprint is a steel tube construction unlike other carbon and fiberglass seats that are made for weight reduction.

And if I'm honest, if I crash an NA MX5 at motorway speeds, I don't think the seat will play a huge part in how I leave the scene. :(

Go to any of the drifting sites and they all say the same thing, all brand bucket seats seem to fall apart in a crash, that goes for the big names like Recaro and Bride also. I check averts eveyday looking for a good Recaro for the Chaser.

The awkward moment keeping in for someone and you fall in the ditch.... That's my good deed done for the day, no I'm not in the tractor but told them to drag it the other way :D

Sobanek, all you need to get your lights good again is either bring it to a detailer and give him an hour with the car or get yourself the Meguiars headlight restoration kit.

I was looking at a lipkit with side skirts for my car and was told just delivery would be €362.73, not going to happen.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,605 ✭✭✭toastedpickles

    Lads/ladies I'm in a bit of a "pickle" :pac:

Whilst trying to remove the brake discs on the 900 today, I found that the pin that hold them in, which looked to be a t40, is more rounded, than a roundabout  which has brought me to a near complete halt

So can anyone help me out somehow? Prease?

Cut a line into the bolt head and use a normal screwdriver to remove it. If that doesn't work, you could try hammering a socket head over it but it's not really do able and you may destroy the socket.

You could also try the next size torx head, hammer it in to make it fit if you have to.

Oh right yeah, I think your best bet is to just drill it out.

I would've thought a few hard slaps and a well sized flat head screwdriver would loosen it handy enough?

Oh no, that would be too easy, everything around the brake set up is torqued on to within an inch of it's life, I would have loved some air tools today, but I managed, i can do anything now :pac:

Did you get it sorted, I'm confused now.

Every brake disc locator screw Ive had to remove has needed drilling out, people never put any anti seize on them. I ordered an impact screwdriver yesterday for future discs
