Do you folks know a good place to buy vinyls online.
My first port of call is generally the shops around dublin, but there's some older records i'm never likely to see in a record shop. You guys have any suggestions?

My preference is to use something based in ireland, but i'd be happy enough with anywhere that helps me avoid amazon.

Depends what you're after, of course, but I've used adverts and e-Bay.

Well right now i'm looking for The Softies album Winter Pageant. I've got a few other bands of that ilk that i'd like to have on vinyl.

There's always Discogs. I've never bought through it, but most albums pop up for sale there.

LRS is always worth a look though, no? Went into mine today for a browse, expecting little and picked up Sufjan's Illinoise and Michigan on vinyl for €20 each. Every bit as cheap as they'd be online and supporting a local shop at the same time.
Ah, just re read yr post now! You do frequent the LRS. Ah well, carry on.....
