New York spending money

Hitting to New York next weekend. Going for 5 days. Any idea how much spending money I'd need. Not going to do a lot of the touristy stuff. Want to do a pub crawl on the Sunday. Anyone know any good bars around Manhattan area.

Was there for 6 nights in March and spent $900 after accommodation.Basically on the piss every night and then a few touristy things thrown in during the day.

Was staying up in Harlem so food/drink and stuff up there was a fair bit cheaper than down in Manhattan.

Pub crawl in Bleecker Street area would be good craic.
