    The reason it is one of the cheapest is that that garage tends to price their stock very close to what they will want for it so don't expect too much in the way of a further discount off the asking price. Asking price may also factor in the slightly above average mileage too.

    As with any used car make sure to run a history check on it and have a mechanic inspect it. The one main problem with that engine is the ERG valve can get a build up of carbon or need replacing which is expensive. Usual signs can be if it is smoky under acceleration. Also make sure the air con is working fine as the VAG air con compressor is prone to failure on cars of that vintage.
