Argentina a best priced 4s now with the mainstream. Actually hilarious what happens sometimes at these huge events and what the markets get away with. It must be the mug punt of the century. Two racing post tipsters stick up 4pt bets on Argentina yesterday at 9/2. Fair enough plenty of mugs work for the post but they've plenty of shrewd people too including the editor. How he can let that go to print is beyond me when basically the entire industry is laughing at how the most underpriced team at the entire tournament is also their most popular selection. So similar to the euros two years ago with so many imbeciles backing Germany that they actually went off favourites ahead of Spain. The fashionable alternative strikes again

Did I read last week that Ryan Moore has been unplaced only once in 13 Derby rides or was I just too stoned to understand what I was reading ?

Definitely not. Trip and ground are wrong for him and it's his first time at Epsom, which is a tricky course. Major lay for me unless the rains arrive; even with the rain I might still lay him, depending on price.

There is a reason so few do the triple but many do the double. Americans aren't bred for stamina at all

Just checked, three in the last ten years have done the double.
