I collect VHS?betamax and have two players. Yes, because a lot of films haven't been released on dvd. I'm looking for places in Ireland, specific shops, markets, so on that still sell VHS, second-hand.

Town Hall Electric in Bray still have some stock.

May i ask why? What's the point? Doesn't the film degrade over time anyway.

The Charity Shops on Capel Street in Dublin City Centre have loads of VHS always, there are 5 stores altogether.

OP already said there's a lot of films that were not released on formats other than tape. If you want to see them, it's tape or nothing.

EDIT: I'll agree with RobbingBandit, charity and other second hand stores will probably be your first bet. Honestly, though, if it weren't for EBay, Amazon and so on, I'd be lost. I've found some real treasures online (Like Dudes).

I went to Capel street, rough place, but I got six vhs for 4 euro. Sleuth, Frankenstein Unbound, Twilight Zone - the Movie, and pre-certification releases of Robin and Marian, A Passage to India and an 1982 adaptation of KIm with Peter O'Toole in brownface.
