@UFC_UK: Didn't get tickets to #UFCDublin? You can still get €75 tickets via UFCVIP! Go get them!! http://t.co/2ss0r1tSD8

Tickets technically €75 but includes hotel and breakfast package. So €295 per ticket.

seen that. so basically 220euro EACH for bed and breakfast

    SHOCKING

boy I know, his girl bought them two x £600 VIP package after he did not get the presale. He has been to all of the UK shows as well as UFC 159 in Newark.

    275per person, that's 550 for a pair, meaning they're charging 400Euro for 1 nights B&B!!!

I don't care if you've been to every UFC event or no UFC event. If you were too slow you were too slow. The 'UFC Megafan' eliteism in this thread is sickening.

It is not cause ones were slow. everyone was on at 10am. its the luck of the draw. silly statement

Fightclub or o2 code takes a huge element of luck out of it.

You will soon see who the 'real' fans are if Conor ( who they just heard of a guy who talks smack and walks around dapped in a tri colour or seen on the late show ) are if he isnt fighting.

Fair play. Spot on here. I'll be there cheering on Shamrock, Liddell and the People's Champion Tito Ortiz like a mad man. :D

I don't think ANYBODY has said they're entitled to a ticket because they're a UFC megafan, show me a post that says that

What people, well most anyways, are saying is that they were not willing to pay 125+ for a ticket, last time around 75 of the upper tier was 50Euro, this time only the back few rows were that price, so only a small amount of 50/75 tickets were ever available.

That would be quite funny if he had to pull out, would be able to bag a 175 ticket for a ton at most :pac::pac::pac:

wether he is fighting or not, id still of went.

Uncle creepy is my man. love watching him fight.

Zak Cummings must think he is the real deal now thinking being co main event and tix selling out 2 mins into gerenal sale.

Not true. I was still able to see tickets with the o2 priority at 1pm yesterday so they weren't all gone.

That's fair enough; more than one person I know complained that there was nothing available less than 5 minutes after they went on sale. I got sorted on Wednesday so wasn't looking myself.

UFC 93 sold out pretty ****ing quickly back then, so the chaos this time around is unsurprising considering the bandwagon is in full flow.

To me in seems most people on this are giving out about the casual McGregor fanboys which has nothing to do with ticket prices. The ticket prices were justified coz it sold out.
People can't give out about the lack of availability of tickets if they had no intention of buying them in the first place coz they were so expensive.

The o2 holds around 10,000 people. The jist from this thread is that most of the people who got tickets are only going for Conor. Thats simply not true. There are 10's of thousands of UFC fans in Ireland now. I firmly believe the Berlin card would have sold out here as well. While there wouldnt have been the clamour we had I still think all tickets would have been gone in an hour.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Ah people are just venting at missing out leave them be. i had a few tickets but opted against it, €100+ for crap tickets, including pints from 4.30pm doors and the all the other expenses i couldn't justify it. My brother is also a rabid fan and even he was the same, i hope whoever got tickets really enjoys the show though old and new fans alike and hope the event is exciting from the start.

I just ask that if you are going please don't leave the arena empty till half the fights are gone, go and watch the prelims/early fights (Any prelims on fightpass anymore?) and support the fighters. Nothing more annoying that looking at a sell out with empty seats, what is the point?

Thats what i was told he said pre sales took all the sales. I asked was it worth my while and he said off the record no. Judging by how many people got tix this morning must been about right. Must be why ticketmaster said they were only onsale online today as they didnt want hundreda of people at vendors trying to buy tickets that werent there. Legit fan meself had trouble getting tix not here to stir anything.i chanced at ten this morn and got two

I'm not sure that's the case.

He is a big draw and I'm sure there are people who tried to buy strictly having been drawn in by his appeal, but I think between the length of time between live shows and the size of the MMA fanbase in this country that it would have sold out anyway.

Two mates in my group of 6 going have only a casual interest in MMA, I will be sitting as far away as possible when they get lynched for asking when McGregor is fighting.

I'd question that figure of 34. I don't doubt that's what you were told, but given that 5 people in this thread alone have gotten tickets this morning, it seems extraordinarily unlikely that about a third of the remaining tickets went to people posting in this very thread.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17 wispa4

Who knows but there doesnt seem to be many people posting on social media today about getting tickets so mightened have been too far off the mark. I dont usually post just posted to let people know what i was told and maybe explain why not many people got tickets today if they were looking for them

Its nice to see the casual interest in conor (obviously good for irish mma) but it is definitely not unreasonable for people who follow the sport closely to be frustrated by their inability to get tickets while many people who will be there didnt know who cole miller was never mind brandao! its just like in gaa every year people are frustrated that sunshine supporters get all ireland tickets! its perfectly natural in my opinion and i think the internet is probably a nice safe way to vent these frustrations for those who missed out to save them potentially being rude to people irl and possibly risk turning casual people off mma due to what could be perceived as ahole hardcore fans! so just let them vent guys!

On another note people who are complaining about card quality are way off in my opinion! it is a fight pass card afterall which we all knew in advance and conor brandao and pickett mcall are easily ppv card quality fights! nelson lalfare would have been sick too with 2 elite prospects and while disappointing its obviously not the ufcs fault they couldnt find a better replacement! (must be a nightmare getting a short notice replacement for nelson in Ireland) Also theres not one fight on the card with 2 unrecognisable names which has basically became the norm for most fightpass cards so stop complaining!

    It's not luck.

This will be my 14th UFC event. I have never wanted to get to an event and not been able to get tickets.

And yes, I do attend local MMA too when I can.

(PS, I'm not actually a doctor, so it's not like money is no object!)

If people REALLY wanted tickets then they should have signed up to UFC fight club. There are 5 of us going and when we knew this was definite, we agreed that one of us would sign up and we would split the cost which is about €15 each. I know its an extra expense but IMO, it is worth it. From what I gather, nearly everybody who had a FC pass got tickets. Might not have been what you were looking to pay but there were tickets available.
