The Mail are saying Spurs are in for Moreno. They're offering £14m plus Soldado on loan.

Even if they're making the story up, it's probably likely that Spurs will be in for him.

If the offer is 80m+, I would take it personally, I think no one is irreplaceable, even Suarez.

    I wouldn't.

You just can't replace world class quality like that. The money looks good on paper and on the balance sheet but I'd rather have the guaranteed world class player.

Only way we let him go IMO is if he really kicks up such a stink that it makes it impossible for him to stay.

I know who I think would suit them better, but let's pretend it's Aguero!

We need to stop thinking like 2nd class citizens. He's our player, we stopped him leaving before, and now he's happier and we are more successful.
Selling him now for ANY price is madness, he's irreplacable...

Cesc, Alexis and Pedro? And probably some change...

Just read that, what an absolute garbage story.

They go on to say we have offered £20m. But spurs are on the verge of hijacking it, with an offer of £6m less & Soldado on loan & no champions league to offer the player. Right.

From every thing I read about him and only seeing him once or twice is that the guy can (no pun meant but it works) run all day long.

He will give the midfield more legs which only Henderson seems to have.

Henderson and Can in midfield to do all the donkey work while all the flair player have freedom is what they want is what it looks like to me.

Ok so if we manage to get Lallana in then we are going to be clocking up some serious mileage.

What do Spurs do on Tuesdays and Wednesdays while we play in the CL?

They'll sort that one out sooner or later. The player is keen to move to Liverpool, Liverpool are keen to have him.

Can is like a carbon copy of Sahin, you'd swear they were twins, play so similarly and even look like each other

who knows if we land those 6 players linked we could be already spending the Suarez money.

Wouldn't we be buying a replacement then?

Get Lallana and we will get a guy who puts Henderson to shame in terms of distance covered per minutes played. Guy has a crazy workrate that gets coupled to no small amount of skill.

Looks a bit more physical though to be fair, which I thought was Sahins major failing for Liverpool.

Better play him CAM so, even though his natural position is CM.

Henderson, Lallana, Can, Allen, Coutinho, Gerrard and Lucas would be a very good midfield to start next season with.

Just need to build up the defence now.

Keep the front three and add a winger/forward to the signing of Lambert and I think it will be a good transfer window.

I honestly don't feel we need a marquee signing. Build up a strong squad this season make sure we get top 4 again and move on again.

Does anyone follow Indykalia on twitter, he keeps popping up on my LFC related searches. He used to be a pathetic ITK bul**** artist.

Now I think he's become a parody of himself intentionally. I find him to be hilarious.

Ya he's much bigger than Sahin so would be more of a presence but I think Sahin is tidier when it comes to tackling, Can will need to improve in that area he gives away a lot of fouls

Good buy for that money though lots of potential

Bild reporting that the Can deal has just been announced as having been completed

I have to say, I'm happy with how Rodgers is going about business so far. I don't think we'll have any long drawn out "saga" this summer, no "marquee" player just strengthening the squad with very good options.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Quotes popping up all over the place now.
Leverkusen CEO Michael Schade (61) told BILD: "Until Tuesday, it was a rumor. Now I can confirm that an official offer from Liverpool is received by mail. "
The change is perfect - Liverpool will announce the transfer on Thursday.
Leverkusen would like to be kept Can. But the midfielder has a clause for a foreign exchange in the contract, the work of self may leave this summer for 12 million euros.

Guess that makes indykalia more credible than moley.

I can't see us keeping Lucas with us signing Can.

Should be a very good signing.

    Anyword on Lallana yet???
