I invented the ball point pencil while on ecstasy. That was a great day.

    Funny you should say that.

Was working in the storeroom of our business when I heard commotion out front. Ran out to find my brother with a knife held to his throat. The Hoody wearing assailant hadn't seen me coming and I reacted out of instinct but managed to get him and the knife away from my brother and he scarpered. Not before he turned back to face us and call us Fcuking Bastards which was very helpful of him when it came to identifying him from mugshots up at the Garda Station. He was caught, convicted and served about 3 years in Mountjoy. Some of it concurrent with his two brothers, one with AIDS in for a similar offence and the other in for Murder.

About a year after his release I saw him walk past our business, stop, turn around and come in. "Oh FFS! What's going to happen now!!"

Soon as I saw his face close up I relaxed a bit. As I did E back in the day myself, I could see from his eyes and face he was on E at that time. He began to apologise profusely for what he had done and then headed off again and I haven't seen him since.

Make of that what you will.

Sorry for your misfortune and fare play for the bravery on ur part!!

But the apology part is pretty funny!!

It is crazy how much some MDMA can turn the toughest of people into the most loving ppl ever who just want to love one another.

I really don't think this can be understood fully by those who have never tried MDMA!!

He achieved a lot, and he should be celebrated for his work and dedication.

however, the dead eyes of a 20-something who does them every weekend would tell a different story. a sad story.

I did them every weekend for 6 years, from the age of 18 to 24. I somehow managed to hold down a full time job as did most of my mates, and we got along just fine.

If a person takes enough to cause dead eyes in their 20s, then that's their own responsibility. The same applies to alcohol.
