My brother met a guy called Jorma, and it was pronounced 'Yore ma'. It wouldn't be a great name to have in Ireland

I think one of the worst names I have heard is Danika. I also know someone who called their child KC. It's not short for anything, just 2 letters.
Maybe the mother did a little dance, gave a little love, and got down that night.....

    Sneachta, Saoirse, etc. Ugh, horrible.

I think Sneachta is a strawman parody name there isn't really anyone called that.

Saoirse is a totally normal Irish name - it would be a boring world if everyone was called Sean or James...

No way man, podge or P.J. Are the worst bigger names going.

I used to work with a lad called podge and he looked every bit of his name.

Any of those unpronounceable and unspellable Irish names. It seems to be rampant amongst the female presenters of RTE.

I was walking home the other day and could hear a woman yelling after her son, who had run ahead of her.

I would have thought I'd misheard her if she wasn't bellowing it at the top of her lungs over and over again.

The little boy's name was Falcon!
