    Explain convctional rainfall

Convectional rainfall is when a warm front and cold front meet. The warm front which is lighter than the cold front is forced to go over the cold front. The warm front rises, cools and condenses to form clouds and it gives off precipitation. This rainfall is mostly found in areas near the equator.
