changed oil and filter for the first time last night.
Made a big mess and resorted to the screwdriver and hammer for the oil filter.
but got myself an oil filter grabber today though!!!

Belts done, air filter done, reg/rec replaced, brake and clutch fluid done (not by me btw). I had the day off and drove mine today. Great weather today.
If anyone knows the location, they get a medal:

    They are aftermarket LEDs.
They come on with the headlight.
    Good light out of them!

Mudguard, tail light,speedo/rev counter and headlight are aftermarket aswell.
Renthal bars and grips, full stainless steel exhaust system.
    Single cylinder.
    There's some thump off her.
Cops were behind me going through town the other day, thought they'd definitely pull me!

Changed fork seals and oil. Have no table clamp, so using a V shaped part of a tree in the garden to yank the old seals out. Worked a treat, but made a balls of the bark on the tree.

Got the engine in and most of the wiring sorted. Slowly turning into a bike again :)

I'm trying to fix my front brake switch (it's not lighting the rear brake light) but it's turning into a massive pain in the hole!

Battery drained trying to fix it. Recharged battery. Got at switch again and it seems to be working ok. When button pushed in, light is off; when button released (like it would when front brake lever pulled in), the light comes on.

But when I put it back in its place, no light works. So I checked rear brake too. Now this doesn't work even though I haven't been near it.

So either light bulb is finished and / or battery is dying again.

Right indicator light gets stuck on.

This is what I did yesterday evening. Hopefully I can come back later and say that I sorted it :)

Something's wrong with your reg plate. It says that bike is a 98. :pac:
Bloody hell, it's mint! Very nice, what size engine?

Actually, with the zzr I'd be very happy with that as a 2 bike garage.

Pics don't even do it justice, u should see it in the flesh!
I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, and it's an absolute blast to ride on back roads.

    It's a 660 single cylinder.
Do u know what bike it is?

I'm going with a CCM cos it says it on the swingarm! Was it in that condition when you bought it? Someone went to a lot of trouble, engine painted nicely makes it look brand new.

    It's an MZ Mastiff.
The guy I got it off done it.
He's attention to detail is something else.

I have a exhaust hanger instead of pegs but im wondering before I tune it should I cut 4-5 inches off the exhaust? What ya recon. Id make a stainless hanger thats straighter so the point it holds the pipe is a few inches lower so its not on top of the sign.

So lob it or leave it?

It could look quite well with a stubby...but might be very loud.

I actually hate stubby. Would still be proper sized just a tad shorter. Probably no more than 4" off.

    could look good imo!

dont make it too small, but definitely room for it to be shortened a bit alright. Maybe move the band up, 1-1.5", to even up the spacing each side of the logo, and take ~3 off the inlet side? Maybe more? Can chop a bit off, and line it up and see if you like it. If not, take another little bit
