Glue Dissolver

I have a microwave and the spigot that makes the turntable revolve has come out. I tried to glue it back in and this worked fine for quite a while and then come loose again I am going to buy a new one but the bottom of the spigot has a slot in it which fits on a ridge in the bottom of the hole the spigot go,s into, this is blocked up with araldite and I cant cut it out.
Is there a solvent that will dissolve it?

I don't think there are any solvents that will "dissolve" a 2 part epoxy like araldite, could you use a Dremel type tool to cut or grind the adhesive away?

Ive tried getting the old araldite out with all kinds of implaments ----no luck but thanks for the info, most helpful. I didnt know a two part compound was so hard to dissolve

Heat will start to make epoxy soft. Hot air gun or similar.
Acetone will remove it when its soft/liquid.

Since it's part of a microwave it'll probably survive heat. If it can be removed then you can put it in the over. Otherwise something like a heat gun will melt the araldite to the point where you can scrape it out.
