    Hi,
I applied for the TSM course TR116 Ancient History Archaeology and Latin for this year, but I'm not finding many threads on it here on boards.ie, is anyone willing to pm me a pdf of the timetable for the junior freshman year of any year just to give me a rough idea?? I know it's roughly 9-10 hours a week of lectures but I would really like to see how these are spread out over a week.....thanks :)

I can't tell you the Latin timetable but the AHA this year was Mon 1pm Sources and methods for ancient history and archaeology, Tuesday 9am and 4pm intro to Greek and roman history and thurs 10am and 4pm intro to Greek and roman art and architecture. There are seminars in sources and methods every two weeks.
I absolutely love the course and the lecturers in the Classics dept are fantastic. Im just finished JF so if u have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

They are split between archaeology related topics in the first term and ancient historical sources in the second. The class is split for the seminar so one group will be one week the other group the following week. There was about 12 in mine and you are expected to contribute to the discussion, you can be singled out if they see any non-participation!
Topics covered in the archaeology term were typology, ethics, coins etc and ancient history was mostly about ancient authors and their works.

In my mature student interview I was given Roman coins and asked to describe them...! I wasn't ready for that lol but they have offered me a place this year so I must have said the right things.. :)
