SPD to SPD-SL conversion help

Converting from SPD to SPD-SL on my road bike. Is there a number of steps I should follow? Thanks

You will most likely need to change your shoes (unless you use an adapter) also as SPD cleats heve tow screws and SLs have 3. Other than that, no real issues. I had SPD on MTB while having SPD SL on road bike and didn'tnotice much difference. I know a few guys use SPD on road bikes with no issues.
