    Women drivers

The lack of top class female chefs.... I mean they are only here to fulfil 2 duties, you'd think they'd get one of them right.

    The bra.

Unhoovered floors (see point 2 above)

Tampon ads. There, I've said it.

    Female referees.

    Women's soccer

    Women's rugby

    Ladies golf.

    Voting rights for females.

Women swimming at the forty foot.

    Alter girls.

At last, someone has addressed the real scourge of modern society.
If you ever decide on a career in politics Gavlor then I'm moving to your constituency!

Rant: Why didn't Gavlor run for Europe?? The Ukraine crisis could surely do with some of his fresh thinking!

1950s logic being used as an excuse for women to play shorter tennis matches and race shorter bike races. :pac:

Absolutely no reason why women shouldn't play 5 sets.

So if I'm getting this right, you're saying it's just down to lazy women?

Nope, I'm blaming the WTA and tournament organisers :pac:

If women were told to play first to 3 sets rather than first to 2 in a tournament they would. There is no physiological reason for shorter matches.

Just to clarify, I don't hate women. In fact I'm quite fond of their cooking.

I think I might convert to Islam. Mohammad had the right idea ;)

    I don't think that's what it is ...

Now if you were complaining about altar girls stealing the altar boys' jobs, maybe I'd leap to their defence :)

Female soccer goalkeepers... I know as kids we put the fat lad or the one with two left feet in goal but the women's game is a disaster for goalies, even at a reasonable level!

Who's defence would you leap to??

And have to listen to that grunting for two more sets? Not to mention the poorer and slower standard! I'd pay them more to keep it at 3 sets!

The altar girls'; they are the subject of the sentence.

And that's my last grammatical / spelling contribution to this thread. This is like a busman's holiday :).

In sports, when women are called 'ladies' and men are called 'men'.

But then you'd be left with only the voices in your own head and who wants that!

Agree 'birds' and 'blokes' is much better:). Or how about 'hoes' and 'bros'.

    Here's a question for ye:
Is there any sport where the best woman is better than the best man?

    Running? :D
Haven't many women over the years been first across the line in mixed long distance races? (think Badwater)

Dey don't count as ultra running isn't really a sport..

Exactly Ultraman. You've finally come around. Ultras are like a long walk with naps, pizza, coke and a good natter. Sure no wonder women excel at them ;)

laser eye treatment priced per eye

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,833 ✭✭✭✭ThisRegard

I can actually think of a reason for that. When you get to a certain age you'll inevitably need glasses for reading so they give you the option of getting one eye done, so one for distance, one for reading.

Gymnastics would be open to debate. But it's all subjective.

Any physical discipline I can think of is a no. Add in less physical like golf and darts and snooker and it's also a no.
