    Hi,
Does anyone know any good trails for cycling on a hybrid bike in Leinster? If possible close to Dublin or wicklow. Im living in Sandyford and have a Carerra Subway Bike. Ive been searching on google and have found plenty of mountain biking trails including Ticknock which is close to me, but I dont fancy bumping over rocks all the time. Any kind of footpath, maybe a walking trail were bikes are allowed around 5 to 10KM. Or even like a gravel path or semi rough surface in a forrest park. Any suggestions welcome.
    Thanks!

The canal toe paths are quiet okay. i live along the Royal Canal & while my road bike aint really suited to it I see MTB's & hybrids mooching along!

The canal paths outside of urban areas are mostly OK and any unpaved sections are dry enough to cycle from now until October. You should also try a planned route using only or mostly L roads which can be ridden comfortably on a hybrid and you get to places you might not be inclined to try out on a road bike.
