Spent the last few minutes watching the 2009 arc and eclipse.

Jim McGrath's commentary was fantastic on both occasions.

The eclipse yes, the arc no. The arc had to be edited cause he was woeful at the end. But the eclipse is the best commentary I've ever heard. Perfect.

    ....And he ACCELERATES!!

I hope this is the edited version...?

If not, I think that was pretty perfect to be honest.

Was it Ana who was initially refused her licence by the Turf Club, and it went to appeal and she got it when she completed the course the next time?

    Edit: Yes, it was: http://www.turfclub.ie/web/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1750:ap-obrien-appeal-hearing&catid=45:referrals-a-appeals&Itemid=173

RUK offering 12 months subscription for €12.50pm if you order by phone before 9pm on Saturday quoting "anniversary offer". Decided to take it out for the first time with Royal Ascot coming up. Won't be able to deal with the Channel 4 coverage for that again.

    €12.50 a month?
    or
    €12.50 for the year?

Edited now, sorry per month, in comparison to the usual 28 per month

Ruler of the World ruled out of the Coronation Cup.

Doubt we'll see him on the track again.

Scotland to win the World Cup ?

6/1 seems good value in a three horse race.
