Summer Sail/Rail Timetable restored on Rosslare Line

I note that the evening train from Rosslare will be deferred from 17:55 Monday/Saturday and 17:40 on Sundays to 18:35 from 03 June 2014 until 31 August 2014, allowing a sail/rail connection off the afternoon Stena Line ferry from Fishguard.

This is earlier than the train operated in 2013, and the one setback of this is that the 17:36 Connolly/Wexford will now have a 15 minute wait in Gorey to allow the trains to cross one another.

It also means that Wexford passing loop will come into regular scheduled use for the first time as the 18:35 from Rosslare will cross the 16:37 from Connolly there.

This means that three of the four Stena Line sailings will have rail connections at Rosslare for Summer 2014.
