It wasnt Paddy O'Gorman he hit was it..

"And how do you feel now having been sacked as Man Utd manager?"

So, you honestly think that a person who's already living on the breadline should be made to work 40 hours a week for the billionaire Donald Chump, which costs him absolutely nothing, whilst The State pays them a paltry €50 on top of their basic social welfare rate, and all the while the Government spin doctors tell us that the Live Register figures are falling? The whole thing stinks, and it serves purely to let the Government off the hook for not creating REAL jobs.

What really stinks is the attitude of 'entitlement' so prevelant in today's society.

What's wrong with taking some initiative oneself?

The scheme is far from perfect but it has it's good points too.

Government don't 'create' jobs the create the conditions where businesses can be run and thus bring in the jobs.

Far too much sense of entitlement in this country, in my opinion.

Arthur Spring is as arrogant as his uncle. Looking forward to seeing him lose his seat in two year's time.

Arthur Spring is an angry man this morning. He sounds every bit like a man who has just realised he won't be in the Dail long enough to get the full TDs pension.:)

A lot of wind and guff gone out of their sails. Hopefully when responding to questions in the future, that there will be no more sneering and smug response's in the Daíl.

I'd say there are a few translation staff in Europe considering applying for early retirement this morning.

What I am hearing "very clearly" Pearse is you have no intention whatsoever of reversing the water charge or the household charge if/when you get into gov.

Sadly, Pearse you are as economical with the truth as any of the "establishment" parties ..... Nothing changes

I think the only people that believe that SF would make those reversals are the same people who still believe the Gerry was never in the IRA.

The most annoying thing about this Labour loser is that she'll go back to her nice cosy sinecure seat in the Seanad. Well done to all of you who voted to retain that place.

Senator O'Donnell obviously thinks it far more important to attend a sheep-shearing gathering than an election count centre over the weekend. The joke is on us though, because her bank account is still being nicely topped up with her Seanad salary and expenses.

Is she gone? Is it safe to flick back to Sean?

I'd be willing to bet that most of the kids attending that obesity clinic spend most of their time sitting on their arses playing Playstation all day.

Just listening to yet another Shinner denying Gerry Adams RA membership again, ignoring all the evidence and spouting the disingenuous "Well Gerry told me he wasnt and I believe him". I wonder while Lynn Boylan was teaching ecology in Kerry for ten years, did she ever come across one of these.

I have to say I had a right laugh at it as well... When Conor used the phrase "stupid obvious" I knew it was going to kick off... :D

Pat Cox on today, not sure I'm gonna be able to stomach his particular brand of arrogance..

John Bruton is on BOTH Sean O'Rourke and Pat Kenny at the same time (pre-recorded interviews) telling us that there will be 10 years more misery, austerity and cutbacks.

Looks like we didn't vote half enough of the bastards out last Friday.

Bruton's arrogance always makes me want to reach for the button to change stations, but there's no getting away from him today

So much for objectivity this morning. Two cheerleaders for the EU within 45 minutes. This man is a bore.

Voting against the incumbent government isn't a magic wand. Whoever replaces them will have to implement, and continue with, the same policies.

People aren't that naive to think it will change are they ?

I guess if you are on 2 or 3 pensions & a current substantial salary (all from the public purse) the very least you should be able to do is bi-locate

but but but but the nice Sinn Fein man told me they'd change everything; and to completely ignore the fact that they're introducing water charges in NI where they're in government (and have had property tax forever).. :(
