Anyone know any place in Dublin I can transfer my pre-recorded VHS tapes to DVD or files for a USB?

I would love to clear some space in my house occupied by the tapes. If not, is there any way I can recycle my VHS collection?

If you have a bunch of stuff then you'd be better off doing it yourself or it'll wind up costing you a fair whack I'd say.

    But this place do it:

    Ok thanks.

Will Power City or anywhere else take the VHS for recycling? I'm really concerned about the landfill that will be caused when I have to discard them.

I've never considered it to be honest. Apparently they're harder to recycle.

There's a guy on this thread: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056399667 who collects old tapes so if you have stuff recorded off the TV he might be interested.
