The service and food in that place were both woefully overrated. I'm not surprised its gone, but I was baffled by those crying about its closure.

This company have probably destroyed their own business or ant future attempts to start up again. No one likes to hear these stories but especially not when a seemingly persecuted business who is a victim of greedy landlords (pr gold) then becomes the greedy bosses who haven't paid their staff in months.

Talk about hero to zero in nanoseconds.

Maybe the developer stole the money?

It's the owner who is French. Only some of the staff are.

I wouldn't know. Us Welsh treat our females with a bit of respect.

They had lovely cakes but they catered my sons christening and the business side of things seemed lacking which in hindsight is unsurprising.

Staff member Madeline Danish remarked that they were extremely croissant at the situation and will not just roll over and be made bun of. "The situation is inseine" she cried," we have checked to see if they left bank drafts for us, but no - atellier, there will be trouble".

Ah, the usual jokes being made as ever, despite people losing their jobs.

Why anyone would think it's funny when a business is eclaired bankrupt, I don't know.

Loyal staff who have wrongly assessed the moral integrity of management. All too common, alas.

Well said - Cuisine de France make the most bland, tasteless bread I've ever eaten...even their so-called "pastries" are rotten little lumps of hydrogenated fat. Foul produce altogether.

Cusine de France badly need some proper competition.

Having worked retail for a company that sells itself on being a "small irish owned business". I quickly realised it was actually part of a multi-million euro empire and was far from the small image it was portraying. It paid all the staff ****ly and treated everyone like crap.

Most business pay play the whole "small irish firm" treat their employees like **** and pay them ****tly. You Lidl or Aldi pays and treats their staff better than your small local business.
