How to register a online business name in the uk?

Hi all does anyone have any info about this as not too sure how it works? i thnk its £15 to do it if i get the name registered what do i do after it, do i need to apply to have the business taxed im new to this so anyone with info on creating online businesses in the uk would be great thank you.

Think you have to apply online through hmc ask the uk forum they should have better info
