Getting emails from supposedly professional people who start the mail with 'Hi Surname'.

It's obvious it's a surname too. I mean how stupid can you be!? I'd have had conversations with them on the phone where they called me by my first name!

Some people haven't figured out that names are set to display as 'surname, first name' in their mail client.

Also emails with your name spelt incorrectly, say email address is jones.mary@xxx.net, yet they address you as Marie/ Maura/ Mandy...

Can't they just copy it from the email name, it's a fairly good clue .

I get a lot that address me as Mr. Firstname. It just smacks of laziness.

Or if you get someone sending you a commercial offer and the subject line reads Fwd:blah blah I know they've sent it to plenty of others but at least make the effort to make it look like I'm a bit special.

The last gripe I have is clients requesting a commercial offer and cc you along with another 10 companies they've requested the same offer from which is pure stupidity.

Something i've recently figured out that i hate (is hate too strong a word?) is certain breeds of dog. A girl i know has a Pomeranian, it is a joke of a dog, stupid overly fluffy thing that she fusses over. Kearn terriers with there extremely high pitched barks, my grandad has one and im always tempted to give it a sly boot for nearly deafening me. I could go on but i wont...

In other news i finished my degree yesterday (yay!:D), but i had to make one last presentation and the examiner was an absolute pig of a man, sat on his phone for the duration of my talk and when i ran the demo he finally looked up and then proceeded to tear me a new one! What a rude ignorant fat fucker, now i'm not saying my project was a masterpiece but i had worked hard on it all year at least pay me a bit of respect and pretend to be interested. I was so close to actually grabbing his phone and hopping it off the wall!

Someone texting or emailing me to tell me how busy they are. Ah you're grand, don't bother mailing/ texting just to tell me that. Then you will be less busy ;)...one less thing on your to do list.

Not talking about boards, but another forum I belong to, one user in particular posts every critical decision (ahem) she needs to take, as a question.
My back is itchy, should I scratch it? I'd like an ice cream, should I have a choc ice or a brunch?*

*All details changed to protect the anonymous poster on the other unidentified forum

In marketing terms, this kind of thing is known as looking for Buy-In, Skin In The Game and/or Balls Nailed To The White-board.

Sounds like facebook:mad: often wonder how some people manage to get up and dressed in the morning by themselves when they cant even make the easiest decisions without consulting 100s of "friends".

Should I comment on this? or will I just leave it? Or maybe reply later? What do you think? Will I go on? or will I stop?

Are you seeing some other forum behind boards back? :D

Only yesterday I had to explain why I don't have twitter, fb, whatsapp, instagram and all the other stuff that keeps people glued to their phones.
The main gist of my answer was 'I don't care and I live perfectly happily in my ignorance'

In order to overcome your problems you need to face them head on.

You need to eat a kebab.
