Ok, I need to get my van weighed before I can tax it for the first time (It was a UK import) I have recently DOE'd the van but I need this extra information.

Does anyone know of authorised weighbridges in the South Dublin area? I can't find a list online.

    Thanks in advance!

Roadstone in Tallaght / Belgard is the only one I know.

Just an FYI for anyone else, the weighbridge going into dawn foods in naas is also accepted for tax.

I assume they accepted that? The weight is printed on the DOE receipt but when I said it to the guy in the tax office he said that wasn't accurate enough and they needed documentation from a authorised weighbridge...

There is a list of approved ones in Kildare (not much help I know) - http://kildare.ie/countycouncil/motortax/weighbridges/

I had no problem at either the CVRT centre or at the NCTS
