The older the fiddle....

So lately I have been quietly concerned with me hitting the big 40, until last night when I was in the local shop buying Coco Pops for the kids when I was greeted by this stunning young one behind the counter who would have been in first year when I was doing my leaving.
She was all smiles and when giving me the change says....
"Gosh Lando, I'm all wobbly in my knees" and winks.
I left the shop gobsmacked and this got me thinking, I'm 40 and could still pull a young one, but for a chance meeting feel full of life and vitality again.
Do you think the exuberance of youth stays with us always or is it drained out of us by having relationships and the like?

If she was in first-year when you were doing the Leaving she's probably 34 or 35? Probably a great-grandmother and all - young one me hole! :D

Don't flatter yourself, she's hardly a young one at 35-36.

i think we only lose that over the years for whatever reasons.
i try to act as childishly as possible, as to keep that youthfulness.

She is to me, but that's beside the point, she gave me that feeling that's been missing through out the years.

I'm all wobbly in my knees" .

She can't be too young, if her knees are wobbly.

What, that feeling that every human female born after about 1994 looks at you and thinks "Ah look at that poor oul' divil, bet he wishes he was dead and it was all over with"?? Can't help you there, chief - this oul' fella still has 21-year-olds singing Ave Marie with their ladyparts.

Twitchy eye and weak in the legs? The poor girl had a ****ing stroke and all you did was walk off congratulating yourself. Go to the hospital and bring her some flowers.

The older the fiddle, the more chance there is of it getting woodworm.

It's Lester Burnham syndrome. Long term relationships make some people wilt.

Disgraceful parenting buying a chocolate based cereal for your kids.

Hello children, Daddy's home with a box of type 2 diatbetes & a lob on.

    Nice.

A small penis is nothing to make fun of.

She sounds a bit simple tbh, no offence, I don't know what you look like:p If she's 35 and single she's probably getting a bit desperate for a man, any man:D

I'm 40 this year, I'm trying to go down the "posh totty" route - I will be channeling Helen Mirren, Twiggy, Emma Thompson et al.

Please be on the look out for a slightly dumpy blonde, staggering around like a baby deer in heels, and looks like she either has something in her eye (she's trying to wink seductively at you) or she is having a neck spasm (tossing her locks in a demure fashion). If approached by this woman, please return her to a secure facility near you.
