A nice convenient (if somewhat incoherent) way to slip out of a discussion without having to admit that you've got no real reasoning to back up your point alright.

    Good luck with that.

Oh ive got it alright it just wont be liked. You think i got the 2 or 3 pages of stupid infactions or bans from being popular on here ? ha!!

Don't be too disturbed. You have to realise that this is nothing new. Every city, and country in the world has small groups of people who hate anyone different from themselves. It's part of the human condition. Where it comes from is unknown, but it's probably partly genetic and partly growing up in families that foster that kind of 'condition'.
We will always have them. They will always be here, whining and bit©hing and moaning about 'foreigners' and different races. Thankfully in Ireland we have fewer than the average, imho. The vast majority of Irish people love the diversity, the richness of cultures. And as long as we stay well educated, well informed and confident in ourselves as a nation and as a future, we won't ever really have to worry about them.

Thing is, I don't believe we have fewer than the average proportion of xenophobes. That's another myth. I used to believe it, like the "we're so well educated" myth. I think there's a lot to be concerned about tbh.

Sounds good to me. We are going in the right direction.

Thanks for that, I'll be dead anyway, but so we are clear, for my children, who won't be, thanks.

I don't know your posting history but I'd imagine you got them from being unable to debate a point without resorting to personal insults and the like.

That's just a wild guess though.

No they're not. And Bord Failte aren't either. We can't and shouldn't and won't keep Ireland as some kind of dumbass pigs in the parlour disneyland. That is gone, long gone, and it's never ever coming back. Tomorrow's Ireland is all about a nation with open arms and rich with diversity and variety.

So you have worked in the industry, gone to the trade shows and talked to people that make these statements? No you havent, have you? Apologies, but you havent a clue what you are talking about. Your Ireland is seen through your eyes and not through the eyes of many many visitors that left dissappointed. If Ireland wants to be what you suggest, tourism bodies need to stop selling as they do because its still cead mile failte and not some eastern european or chinese dude serving the full irish!

No, in an ideal world, but moderators decisions are not a subject for discussion on boards and will result in a ban.

There's a dispute resolution forum and a feedback forum. Plenty of room for discussion as far as I can see.

I've discussed decisions with moderators in the past and have yet to be banned.

Whilst this could be construed as a personal comment, I do accept it. I'm often digged, smile for f sack, you won! And the one that drives me mad, cheer up, it might never happen.

    I did miss the humour.

I got them for been out spoken and for not caring pretty much. Theres some things ive said on here in different parts of the boards that just didnt go down well because why would they ?

Look i know the reasoning behind what ive said i just cant say it on here because of rules etc which is fine but u can work it out for yourself. Its not as clear as me being racist i just dont like most people people annoy me and bother me very easily thats just me really.

Since they left the door open so to speak in this country we have all kinds living here now. Now all the amazing kind accepting modern people of the world on here there more then welcome to love this.

You dont have to like everything u dont have to accept everyone and u sure as hell dont have to embrace there ways so no matter what i wont change you wont change life wont change we will all move on and live happy ever after.

So ya :). Theres not much more for me to say on that matter.

Unlike other forums, your posts do not disappear if banned.

They will make up Irish History in the future, so keep that in mind, a historian in two thousand years, after the holocaust, may well find the cause of it, right here in Boards Archives.

    Which holocaust would that be?

Out curiosity, you say that immigrants stop you being Irish. Can you tell me a specific instance in your life where your Irishness was stymied by immigrants?

they would never have investigated without some suspicion , hence the smoke reference

but , had there been a plot as they thought there was and nothing was done until it was to late , you would be on criticizing the lack of action.

they have not been shutting down Islamic "faith" schools all over the north east for no reason

    sadly truly , truly fact

This holocaust has not happened yet.

i never said or implied there was , i was reporting about a news item that was covered by every news organization in the UK.

like is said , closing lots of private faith schools because of the type of teachings that are going on - radicalizing the youth .

you're right is not a conspiracy - its a fact - its happening right now.

Yes, I can see how that shook your Irishness to its core. I'd be unable to say céad míle fáilte for a week after that...
