    Hello,

Could someone please tell me how to connect these two systems?
I have something wrong; when the alarm it's activated the bell rings for 5 seconds (no blue light) but than flashes a blue light and goes silent.

All the other functions of the alarm are working fine.
This is an old installation that it was not made by me.

I really appreciate some help please!?

    Regards,
    Raul Nunes

Can you tell us what way you have it wired at the moment?

    Thank you very much.
I have the manual of the alarm, but I don't have the manual of the bell. :-(

    This is how I connected:

    Bell
    Alarm

    External +
    AUX + (Red always positive)
    SAB Hold
    AUX – (Black always negative)
    Strobe -
BELL – (Negative when in alarm)
    Strobe +
    AUX + (Red always positive)

I cannot post images from the circuits because I'm a new user! :-(

    Regards!

Have you the bell negative from the SABB connected to anything at the panel?

    Is there a bell - output ?
If not you need to programme one to switch negative when the alarm activates..

That should be a switched negative for an alarm .
Connect that to Bell - on the external bell.

No I have another problem, this one is a little strange!!

I have zone 1 and zone 3 connected to the board.

    Zone 1 it's working fine!

    Zone 2 deleted.

    Zone 3 it's somewhat strange!!!

I have zone 3 connected like this:

    Red
    AUX+

    Black
    AUX –

    Blue
    Z3

    Brown
    COM

The sensor has a 5600 resistor between blue and brown cables.

The sensot warns me if someone walks by that zone (two beeps at the keypad)

But when I try to turn the alarm on, it says "Close zone 3 before arming"....

If I change EOL options it tells me "Short in zone 3"

I also have an exclamation point (!) in zone 3.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

    Regards!
