    Giggs will not work with LVG if LVG doesn't want him. It's that simple. If Giggs is offered a role, it will be because LVG decided and thats it. Might be alongside Kluivert, might be a lesser role, but whatever it is it will be on LVG's terms.

    LVG generally takes a link with him when he takes a new role. I'd imagine he's like to meet Giggs and see how they gel before rubber stamping it. The fact it took this long for me means he wasn't letting anyone interfere with the Dutch preparation and did this on his day off. I hope everything will be resolved tonight/tomorrow.


    Hiddink Is already confirmed to be taking over isn't he not? I'd say Kluivert will stay as his No.2 or else venture into Management himself.

    I think the players would be aware that he was the one that got rid of the seniors, therefore, and most importantly, he would be utterly ruthless in their eyes. But in the eyes of the fans he might not have been the one to have sacked some of their favourite players.

    It has gone this far that I don't think Giggs is in strong power position. If Van Gaal does not want Giggs, Giggs goes.

    Did anyone else think Giggs was very serious the other night at the awards ceremony, especially when he was receiving his lifetime achievement award or whatever it was called.

    He didn't seem very happy.

    I don't want anyone imposed on the new manager, we need to get it right this time and let the new manager do what he wants with the people he wants.

    The whole obsession thing is funny, especially when the person comes into the opposition super thread with the accusation.

    It would like going to the Gards and accusing someone of being a stalker. The evidence you have is that you spotted them looking at your Facebook profile while you were monitoring them through their window with binoculars

    Don't think anyone has done the boards.ie "Who is feeling your love test" for this thread have they? Tradition and all so here is mine (again) not too much different to the last iirc, Blatter you seem to have moved down in the pecking order a bit and Gav has moved up, he is my favorite Chelsea fan/mod though so its understandable :)
